What we collect, and what we don't.
Linkd (operated by Linkd Inc., "we", "us") helps founders, executives, and GTM teams activate their LinkedIn network. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how to control it. We wrote it in plain English. The legalese version of any specific clause is available on request.
1. What we collect
Account data
Your name, work email, password (hashed), company, and role. Collected when you sign up or are invited to a workspace.
LinkedIn connection data
When you install the Linkd Chrome extension and sync your LinkedIn account, we collect connection metadata you would otherwise see in your own LinkedIn UI: names, headlines, profile URLs, company, location, mutual connections, and connection date. We do not collect your inbox, private messages, or content you have not posted publicly.
Usage data
Pages viewed inside the app, features used, errors hit. We use this to make Linkd faster and to fix bugs. Never sold.
Billing data
Handled by Stripe. We see plan, status, and the last four digits of your card, never the full number.
2. How we use it
- To run the service you signed up for: sync your network, match it against an ICP, surface warm intros.
- To support your team: combine connections across seats inside your workspace only.
- To improve the product, debug, and detect abuse.
- To send you product updates, billing receipts, and occasional onboarding emails. You can opt out of marketing email anytime.
3. Who we share it with
- Sub-processors we rely on to operate: Google Cloud / AWS (hosting), Stripe (billing), Postmark (transactional email), PostHog (analytics), OpenAI / Anthropic (AI inference for ICP matching, with no training on your data).
- Your workspace teammates, for shared lists and combined networks. You control membership.
- Law enforcement, only when legally required. We push back on overbroad requests.
4. Retention
We keep your data for as long as your workspace is active. If you cancel, we keep it for 30 days in case you reactivate, then delete it. You can request immediate deletion at any time by emailing privacy@teamlinkd.com.
5. Your rights
You can: access, correct, export, or delete your data. EU/UK users have GDPR rights; California users have CCPA rights. Email privacy@teamlinkd.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
6. Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies (auth, session). Analytics cookies you can disable. No third-party advertising cookies.
7. Changes
If we change this policy materially, we'll email account admins at least 14 days before changes take effect.
